The remote handling tong LemerPax allows the telemanipulationin hostile environments.Specially adapted for the workin radioisotopes hot cells, theyare engineered to be incorpora-ted in the Lemer Pax shieldedlead balls. The head of the tongis easily disconnectable andinterchangeable, and a screwknob allowsto tune the openingand to lock the tightening of thejaws.Atighteness booting isconnectable to the tong by usinga tight intermediate connectoron the rod and a tightness ringon the hot cell wall.
